Open Christian Press is dedicated to the global visibility, accessibility, and scholarly recognition of the work we publish. We believe that every article—when grounded in truth and academic integrity—deserves to be discoverable by scholars, students, and practitioners across disciplines and regions.
To support this goal, we are actively building robust indexing and archiving partnerships. While some indexing systems require multi-year consistency and citation benchmarks, we are committed to steadily meeting these standards with transparency and care.
As of now, articles published by Open Christian Press are indexed and discoverable through the following platforms:
Zenodo (DOI assignment & metadata archiving). All published articles are archived on Zenodo and assigned a DOI through Zenodo, ensuring permanent discoverability and citation.
Google Scholar: Our journals are indexed in Google Scholar, providing broad search visibility to readers worldwide.
ResearchGate: Authors and editorial teams may share and distribute accepted versions and metadata through ResearchGate profiles, which support citation tracking and scholarly dialogue.
Academia.edu: Authors may also distribute their accepted versions via Academia.edu, helping extend reach to interdisciplinary audiences and non-traditional scholarly readers.Â
OpenAIRE: Through Zenodo’s infrastructure, our publications are indexed and disseminated via OpenAIRE, supporting European open science policies and funder mandates.
Elsevier SSRN (Social Science Research Network): Manuscripts aligned with social sciences, theology, or education themes are cross-listed or summarized on SSR where applicable, providing greater exposure to multidisciplinary readers.
Every published article is assigned a Zenodo-hosted DOI, ensuring:
Permanent and stable citation
Compatibility with ORCID and open metadata environments
Visibility through data harvesting services such as OpenAIRE and DataCite Search
Authors are encouraged to use their DOI in all institutional records, citations, and repository deposits to ensure proper attribution and scholarly traceability.
In addition to Zenodo’s integration with DataCite, we maintain secure local backups and are working toward integration with global preservation systems such as LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, and selected institutional repositories. We are also exploring decentralized archiving options through partnerships with theological libraries and African universities.
