Open Christian Press is firmly committed to open access publishing as a matter of both academic justice and spiritual conviction. We believe that knowledge—especially when grounded in truth and service—should never be hidden behind paywalls or restricted to a privileged few. For this reason, all articles published across our journals are freely accessible online without any subscription, registration, or access fees.
We operate under the belief that open access strengthens scholarly impact, facilitates global dialogue, and allows truth to circulate freely across borders, institutions, and disciplines.
Our publishing model is fully open access. Authors retain copyright (see our Copyright & Licensing Policy), and their work is published under Open Access (CC BY). This means readers may read, download, share, and reuse content for non-commercial purposes, provided proper attribution is given and the work is not altered in a misleading way.
There are no subscription fees, no pay-per-view charges, and no institutional barriers to reading or sharing any published article.
To ensure long-term preservation of scholarly content, Open Christian Press journals are participating in recognized digital archiving initiatives. We are actively working to integrate with systems such as LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS, which store content in secure and decentralized repositories across the world.
Additionally, authors are encouraged to self-archive their published articles in:
Institutional repositories
National and disciplinary archives
Preprint servers and research-sharing platforms (with appropriate citation of the published version)
Personal websites or portfolios
All content published by Open Christian Press is stored securely on our own servers and backed up regularly. In the event of journal migration, technical outages, or platform transitions, we are committed to ensuring uninterrupted public access to our published record.
We also welcome partnerships with universities, libraries, and theological institutions interested in mirroring or preserving journal content to strengthen global knowledge stewardship.
Each article published is assigned a permanent DOI (Digital Object Identifier) to ensure reliable citation, linking, and discoverability. We recommend that authors and readers always cite the official version hosted on the Open Christian Press platform.

We remain deeply committed to accessibility, transparency, and the faithful preservation of knowledge that edifies, enlightens, and equips.
