At Open Christian Press, we consider it a privilege to host and disseminate research that serves both the scholarly community and the Kingdom of God. To sustain our operations—such as peer review management, editorial coordination, secure digital hosting, and long-term archiving—we humbly request a modest Article Processing Charge (APC) of $30 USD, payable only upon acceptance of a manuscript for publication.
There is no fee to submit a manuscript, and no payment is requested at any stage of review or revision. The APC is only required after a manuscript has successfully passed peer review and is ready for final publication.

APC Exemptions
1) Automatic journal waivers:
Open Journal of Business Theology (OJ-BT): 100% APC waiver.
Open Journal of Stigmatized Knowledge & Suppressed Discourses (OJ-SKSD): 100% APC waiver.
2) Student waivers: Current students of Open Christian University receive a 100% APC waiver upon verification of affiliation.
3) Hardship waivers: Authors facing financial hardship may request a partial or full waiver (up to 100%) at or after submission and before payment. Decisions are made case-by-case within 10 business days of request.
Waiver requests: Email editor@openchristian.education with the manuscript title, journal name, and a brief rationale. Waivers approved are valid for 60 days from the decision date.

Withdrawal Policy and Fees
Authors have the right to withdraw their manuscript at any stage. The applicable fee (if any) depends on the stage at the time of withdrawal:
Before editorial review begins: No fee.
During peer review (after editorial check, before decision): $10 USD withdrawal fee.
After acceptance and after publication: $20 USD withdrawal fee.
Notes:
Withdrawal fees are strictly for cost recovery and will never exceed the applicable author charges (APC = $30 USD).
To request a withdrawal, email editor@openchristian.education with the manuscript title and journal name so we can confirm the current stage.
Payment and Receipts
Payment and Receipts
Accepted authors will receive clear payment instructions along with their acceptance letter. Payments will be processed securely, and receipts will be issued for record-keeping or institutional reimbursement.
