A peer-reviewed journal integrating biblical truth with business theory and practice for redemptive enterprise and faithful leadership.
Journal Description
The Open Journal of Business Theology (OJ-BT) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal committed to restoring the sacred calling of business through theological reflection, moral clarity, and redemptive praxis. It offers a scholarly space where business education, marketplace leadership, and economic activity are evaluated not solely by profit, productivity, or prestige, but by alignment with eternal truth and faithful stewardship under God.
This journal affirms that business is not morally neutral. It can either serve God’s purposes—fostering justice, dignity, and provision—or subtly reinforce systems of exploitation, pride, and idolatry. OJ-BT calls for a reformation of how we teach, lead, innovate, and invest—moving beyond secular models to recover the spiritual significance of vocation, enterprise, and economics as spheres of worship and witness.
Submissions are welcome from Christian scholars, business leaders, theologians, educators, and practitioners who seek to honor Scripture while engaging the realities of the modern marketplace. We also welcome respectful contributions from secular authors who recognize the moral and philosophical dimensions of business and leadership.
